Dr Hong Chang was born in Fujian, a southern province of China. He moved with his family to Sydney at the age of 14, where he completed his High School Education in Killara High, graduating as the Dux of the Year. He then made the move to Melbourne for his dental education. After graduating with Honours from the University of Melbourne, Hong have worked in both Public and Private practices across different Metropolitan and Rural locations, gaining a variety of experiences, before returning to Chatswood Sydney, where he opened his first surgery, Chatswood Dentistry. In just three years time, Chatswood Dentistry grew from being a single chair solo practice to a multi-location multi-practictioner dental group – Experteeth Dental – a remarkable achievement in today’s competitive market!

During his study time, Dr Hong is always a pursuer of perfection. Since graduation Dr Hong has attended multiple Continuing Professional Education courses to further his training in Dentistry including trainings in Dental Implants and Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr Hong is now associated with the Australian Dental Association, Australian Society of Implant Dentistry, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and Australasian Academy of Dento-facial Aesthetics. With his extensive education and experience in dentistry, Dr Hong strives to make a difference for the patients seeking his treatment and care.

Dr Hong understands seeing a dentist can be a nervous and sometimes scary experience for some patients. His always gentle in his approach, patient in his attitude, and caring in his procedure.
