Dr Tina Cheng

Dr Tina Cheng is from Darwin, Northern Territory. She was born in Fuzhou, Fujian and moved to Australia with her family at the age of 12. Dr Tina completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree at the James Cook University in Cairns. She is bilingual in English and Chinese Mandarin.

Dr Tina has attained a multitude of experiences throughout rural and remote clinical placements in Mareeba and Darwin. Tina is passionate about bringing positive experiences to her patients through the provision of patient-centred care. She enjoys practicing all aspects of general dentistry but has a special interest in oral health education and preventative dentistry.

Tina prides herself on her attention to detail as well as highly values patients’ physical comfort and emotional support in the dental environment. It is very important to Tina that her patients have their dental needs met and walk out with a smile. Her gentle manner and conservative approach enable anxious patients to feel at ease.

Outside of dentistry, Tina enjoys exploring new restaurants, watching mystery films, and hiking. She is also committed to ongoing learning and professional growth through continuing education to stay up-to-date with the latest scientific and clinical developments in order to provide high-quality dental care.
