Short Biography

Dr Richard Wang completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery at James Cook University, where he received extensive clinical exposure across rural and regional communities. Beginning his career in regional New South Wales, he quickly became recognised for his gentle chairside manner, attention to detail, and ability to create a calm and comfortable experience for patients of all ages.

Committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based dentistry, Dr Wang has developed broad clinical expertise across all major areas of general practice. He has pursued significant postgraduate training, including completing the Master of Oral Implantology (MOI)—a program that provided in-depth training in implant planning, surgical techniques, and restorative rehabilitation. In addition, he holds the status of Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (DICOI), one of the highest recognitions in implant dentistry awarded for advanced education, clinical proficiency, and professional contribution.

Beyond his clinical work, Dr Wang has participated in multiple outreach and volunteering programs in both Australia and Sri Lanka. These experiences have shaped his patient-centred philosophy and strengthened his commitment to providing accessible and compassionate dental care.

Outside the clinic, Richard leads an active and balanced lifestyle. He enjoys reading, playing badminton, and taking part in friendly rounds of table tennis.
