Dr Jun Yi Chong

Dr Jun grew up in the SE suburbs of Melbourne, and earned an undergraduate degree in biomedical science at Monash University. She then completed a postgraduate degree in the Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Melbourne.

Jun is based in Burnie and is proud of being a local dentist in the Northwest region of Tasmania. She is interested in all aspects of general dentistry with a focus on restorative dentistry, endodontics, and preventative dentistry. She is regarded by many to have a friendly, gentle and empathetic nature. Importantly, she is committed to providing excellent dental care by keeping relevant in current dental education, and by listening and tailoring her treatment plans to her patient's needs.

Jun enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys baking, especially sourdough bread and is aspiring to one day master the art of artisanal sourdough bread making.
